Personnel Policies & Procedures Manual

The Blackfeet Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual was approved on December 19, 2018, and has resulted in several amendments. The Manual is now listed on this website to provide information about the Tribal Personnel Policies to the employees and public regarding employment with the Blackfeet Tribe.

In the Manual, the Table of Contents are linked to the relevant Chapter and Section in the manual for ease of use, by clicking on that particular topic in the Table of Contents. At the end of the document is a list of footnotes to which have been listed in chronological order. There is a hyperlink to the footnote here that upon clicking the footnote number will jump to that Chapter and Section in the Manual.

Aside from the manual, there is a list of Blackfeet Tribe Personnel forms to which can be accessed independently by PDF. The Personnel Director has the discretion to update the forms in accordance with the Manual from time to time. In the future, these forms are planned to be made fillable from the website which will also allow submission of the forms via electronic submission.

Any questions regarding this new process should be directed to the Personnel Department.

Finance & Procurement Policies & Procedures Manual

The Financial Policies Manual of the Blackfeet Indian Tribe is the official document of the Tribe, authorized by the Tribal Council, for the conduct of Tribal business and the accounting and administration for grants and contracts with federal and state governments and other funding sources.

This manual constitutes all current fiscal policies and standards that have been developed by the Blackfeet Indian Tribe, unless otherwise noted, through the time of issuance. This manual guides employees of the Tribe in the application of various federal and state laws and regulations with financial assistance awarded by other governments and entities.
